Description: The A-Mazing Garden is a delightful maze for all! Weave through the beautiful wildflowers by following along with stories to guide your way. Peak blooming time is late Spring - Summer.
Activity: Follow the brick path story to weave through the maze or listen to all three maze stories on our YouTube playlist.
Location: In the Imagination Space.

Description: All various shapes, sizes and color art rocks add so much whimsy to our space.
Activity: Give a rock, Take a rock. One of the ways to trade art work at the Park!

Description: A magical fairy door with a table for two. We imagine Boardman sisters Ruth & Dot making big plans for the Park.
Location: At the base of the Harry Potter tree in the Imagination Space.

Description: A trash bin re-imagined to be a piece of art at the Park!

Description: A repurposed baby grand piano water feature with a small garden on top and a rushing “waterfall” over the keys. The piece is nestled amongst a rock garden, with rocks of varying size and kind.

Artists: Mary Weiler Williams and the participants of CREATE! 2023.
Description: The quilt designs for this piece were chosen for their “hidden messages” which many people believe helped runaway slaves escape to freedom. The platforms are recycled satellite dishes, and stand for the way we are guided today.
Location: On the west side of the Imagination Space.

Description: Scattered around our Harry tree live the gnomes! The colorful gnome homes are crafted by our community artists and donors.

Description: Part of a collection of Muffler People throughout the Park.
Location: You can find Joey & His Dog in the center of the A-Mazing Garden.

Description: Built of recycled wood, this climbable owl can be enjoyed by kids and adults.
Activity: Climb the back or front of the owl to make your way to the top to have a bird's eye view of the Imagination Space. A movable ship style wheel is at the top.
Location: In the Imagination Space, close to the Winter St gates.
Artist: Ernest Nkwocha Ogbonna
Description: This interactive unicorn is quite a marvel for kids and adults a like. Created by Ernest Nkwocha, a sculptor in Nigeria, from recycled tires.
Activity: The body of the unicorn is climbable so that you can sit on the back for a photo opportunity.
Location: In the Imagination Space close to the gate entrance off of Winter St.
Artists: Concept by Miranda Lytle & Created by Brooke Ripley & the community!
Description: Created on a repurposed trampoline as a paint by numbers project by the community in 2021, Project Freedom is a colorful and meaningful piece to attract, educate, comfort and inspire the community at large. From afar, onlookers will see a mosaic butterfly created with a multitude of bright and neutral colors. Close up it will become evident that tucked within the iconic image of metamorphosis, positivity, and change are two fists breaking free from the chains which bind them.
Location: In the center of the open field on the south side of the Park. The art piece is used as a shade structure.

Artists: The 2023 Mosaic Bench Workshop participants lead by Virginia Corwin and Lynda Elias (the bench) & Kris Prengaman (the grove-lette)
Description: A new small area at the Park for quiet reflection called “Willow Rest and Reflect” is ready for visitors and wanderers! The beautiful mosaic bench was created as part of a Mosaic Workshop held at Boardman Arts Park in September 2023, and is a nod to one of our sponsors - Willow Brook. A “grove-lette” of willow bushes and a tree complete the installation and offer a respite to use when walking along the track, watching children play in the grassy field, or to just sit and reflect.
Location: On the south side of the Park closest to William Street
The project was sponsored by Willow Brook Christian Communities , as well as by William Street United Methodist Church, and the Ohio Arts Council through ArtsNext grants awarded to the Park.
