Park's May Day History

Special Guest - Ernest Nkwocha

The Park is the location of where the old West/Boardman Elementary School used to be from 1904 - 1979. Every year the school would put on a May Day Program including a May Pole Dance and Boardman Arts Park brought back that tradition in 2018, working with local elementary schools to perform the dance every year.
